Musical On Stage Productions has gathered a group of talented Malaysian with great interest in musical theatre. Our aim is to produce top notch musicals and cultivate local talent to achieve international standard in musical theatre to the likeness of New York's Broadway and London's West End. Predominantly with Asian themes, we are confident that these musicals will inspire the Malaysian audience as well as audience around the world.
We have produced the highly acclaimed Siddhartha the musical and within 3 years, we have had performances in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Jakarta with a turn-out of 70 thousand audiences. With the experiences and positive feed back gained from Siddhartha, we produced our second musical Above Full Moon in 2004 and performed at Malaysia Bukit Jalil Indoor Stadium and Singapore Esplanade Theatre.
In 2008, our third musical, Jewel of Tibet, was performed at the Malaysian state of the art national theatre ¡V Istana Budaya to rave reviews.? The musical received 14 nominations in the 7th Annual BOH Cameronian Arts Awards.
